This moderated discussion will build on the results of the Post-2015 Thematic Consultation on Environmental Sustainability and how to help drive sustainable economic growth and poverty eradication.

Opening remarks by H.E. Eduardo Ulibarri Bilbao, Permanent Representative of Costa Rica to the UN, H.E. Gérard Araud, Permanent Representative of France to the UN, Olav Kjørven, Special Advisor to the UNDP Administrator on the Post-2015 Development Agenda, and Elliott C. Harris, Director of UNEP New York Office.

Panelists will include: Paula Caballero, Director of Economic, Social and Environmental Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Colombia; Marianne Fay, Chief Economist, Sustainable Development Network, World Bank; and Wael Hmaidan, Director of Climate Action Network-International.
