Join DESA ASG Thomas Gass in Twitterchat on SDGs!
Join Twitterchat on 8 July at 8:30am EDT with Thomas Gass, UN DESA's Assistant Secretary- General for Policy Coordination and Inter-Agency Affairs, on the theme “Achieving the SDGs and ensuring that no one is left behind”.

With the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we have the basis of a new social contract between the governments of the world and their peoples. It is a solemn promise – to leave no one behind.

Around the globe, nations have started to embrace these new goals. The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) is supporting efforts both at UN Headquarters and through initiatives on the ground. Together with the UN family and other committed partners, we are making sure that everyone knows what these goals stand for and the possibilities they bring.

At the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development on 11-20 July, we will be sharing our progress and ideas on how to make the SDGs happen.

Ahead of this event, share questions or comments in a chat with Thomas Gass (@ThomasGass) on Twitter on Friday, 8 July at 8:30 am EDT using #SDGsChat.
