During the high level segment of the General Assembly, annual NGO grounds passes will not be sufficient to attend official General Assembly meetings. Additionally, temporary NGO passes will not be issued from 11 September 2015 until the end of the General Debate on 6 October 2015. We will resume issuing temporary passes as of 7 October 2015.

For the general debate of the General Assembly, 25 secondary passes will be issued for each morning and afternoon session (for a total of 50 passes per day) from 28 September until 6 October, for collection by NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC on a first-come, first-served basis from the NGO Branch on the corner of 46th Street and 2nd Avenue (North-East corner) from 1 pm to 3 pm each day for use on the following day. (If you have access to the Secretariat Building, you may also come to Room S-2540 to pick up your secondary pass.) Please note that passes will be limited to 1 pass for each NGO (for 1 representative only). Requests for multiple passes from the same NGO will not be considered.

Secondary General Assembly passes will provide access to either the morning or the afternoon session of the General Assembly, but not both. Passes cannot be reserved in advance and will only be distributed in person to enable all requesting NGOs a fair opportunity to participate.

Regular access to UNHQ for ECOSOC-accredited NGOs will resume on 7 October 2015.
