14th session of the Committee of Experts on Public Administration Open Call for Oral and Written Statements (Deadline: 31 March 2015)
The Division for Public Administration and Development Management of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs is pleased to announce an open call for written statements for the 14th session of CEPA for NGOs in ECOSOC consultative status. The main item of discussion for CEPA this year is "Building trust in government in pursuit of the sustainable development goals, what will it take?" with sub-items: (1) Redefining relationships and responsibilities to support participatory governance and responsive public service delivery, including through e-solutions; (2) Strengthening innovation, prioritisation, informed decision-making and integration of policy development processes for enhanced impact; and (3) Promoting accountable institutions, ethical leadership and integrity to enhance confidence in efforts to deliver sustainable development. The 14th session will be held on 20-24 April at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The submission of written statements on these issues is open through CSO-Net at http://bit.ly/1GrlUDd. Statements sent by e-mail cannot be accepted.
